The PEXP-1 consists of a module similar to a power strip. It uses a 15-amp circuit breaker, 4 power outlets and a #14AWG input power cable to safely provide the power for the PEXP-1. The “trigger” cable is a small low-voltage power supply that will be connected to the power outlet that will be providing the trigger input. When the trigger is activated, the equipment connected to the 4 outlets on the PEXP-1 will activate. The 4-outlets on the PEXP get their power from the main power cable, so the trigger cable only tells the PEXP-1 when to turn on and off, and the device(s) plugged into the outlets on the PEXP-1 get their power from the main inlet power cable.
